Abstract: Managing B.E. projects has never been an easy job due to various problems which are prime result of not having version control, bug control, scheduling software and improper system setup.
We are building a system which can address all of these needs using a private cloud setup that can provide complete project management tools for every need right from requirements documentation to running automated tests on the source code. Also the project guides will be able to assess the status of the projects and the milestones achieved and the current status of the entire projects. The ticketing tools will make bug tracking easier and foster a task oriented programming approach. Dynamic deployment of project on cloud will deprive the developers from various problems of system malfunction, virus problems and others.
Using a cloud environment for the same will be quite useful for the students as they can update their project on the go from anywhere without having to worry about the platform they want for their project. It eases out the task of the mentors as they can easily track the performance of the student on regular basis using email notifications. More importantly, keeping record of the student’s project will be easily viewed by the students in coming years for the reference. Using the bug tracking tool allows user to make note of the bugs as they occur and it can be later on solved by any of the group member including him/her.
