Objective
- The purpose of the course for the students is to analyze the importance of networking in communication.
- Students shall be able to study different aspects required for efficient and secure communication in larger networks.
- Students will be able to understand the relevance and underlining infrastructure of wired and wireless communication.
- Students will be introduced to upcoming technologies and their basic architectures.

Relevance to Industry
Network is the backbone of all industries, hence efficient setup and maintenance of networks and ensuring security is among the most challenging task. Industries look forward for reliable network administrators to meet this need.
Relevance to Research
Security and upcoming networking technologies is preferable from research point of view.
