Abstract: The success of a company depends on how efficiently the company handles the inventory control. Searching for equipment, tools or files can mean lost time, decrease productivity and lower profit. We are devising a software which will track inventory globally and allow users quick verification of the status of their inventories. Advantages of Global automated tracking system: 1. Improve asset utilization 2. Identify usage and 3. Track fixed assets and slash inventory time. RFiD is an automated identification and data collection technology, leading to accelerated business processes and a more accurate and timely data entry. Our system will make use of this RFiD technology for the implementation of the following types of tracking system. Inventory beaconing, Personnel tracking, Asset tracking and Theft prevention.
