Abstract:

Current Scenario:
When fatal accident occurs, the driver and the passengers may not be in the state to call for help.

Problem:
If the emergency service reaches late, then the driver and passengers may die as they are not provided with proper aid.

Overview (Solution):

Components:
1) Crash Sensor or Airbag Control Unit (ACU) or Pressure sensor
2) Wireless device (Bluetooth)
3) GPS enabled Smart Phone

Most of the cars today have Airbag Control Unit (ACU) installed in their cars.  So, we shall use the existing crash detector (or Pressure Sensor or Crash Sensor) in the car so, when accident occurs we acquire the signal from it. This signal will be sent to the microcontroller (MSP) via ADC (Analog to Digital Converter). MSP will be programmed to create connection send signal to that mobile via Bluetooth. Application that will be installed in the mobile will receive signal via Bluetooth. Also, the applications that will work on the device will be different according to the Mobile Operating System.
When accident occurs, the crash detector will sense it and will send the signal to the GPS enabled Smart Phone. After receiving the signal, the mobile phone connected to the cord by using GPS will locate the car. This location will be added to the text by the application of the device and will be sent to the nearby emergency service. The nearby emergency service will be located by the database maintained.
Hence by using our system, the emergency service will reach faster , which will help in providing fast aid to the accident victim.

Advantages
→ can prove to be life saving
→ Accident may led to traffic which would be sorted really fast.
